Hi company called Scott&Co They are callling regards to council tax if you are not paying it on time. I forgot to pay a council tax for 2 months and they have sent me a letter that i need to py the full amount in total i had to pay ?712 So i phoned them and they spread the cost for a weekly instalments. they just calling to collect the weekly payment. its not a Spam or Sales call. If they are calling you better call them back ASAP . :)
SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.

Received a call from this number today, and also had a missed call for the last 3 days. Once connected it has a few seconds of silence, a nice clear sign its unsolicited but I thought I d wait and see who they were. Bloke on the other end told me he is from ICS and they got my number from third party who advised there is an unclaimed category C claim against my household (despite it being a call on my mobile). Absolutely disgusting!! He was screaming down the phone at me telling me how rude I was and calling me all the names under the sun just because I told him that I don t have time to take a sales call and could he please email any info he has through for me to look at! I told him not to call again and blocked the number from calling. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager to complain there is no answer! So angry!!

I had a financial review meeting booked via Cpr. I found the whole process to be very good. The appointment was booked and confirmed by Cpr then the advisor. Will full FCA authorisation. Giving me all the information I needed to check the firm out before the meeting. The advisor has sorted out my old pensions, poor performing investments and sorted out I seriously underinsured, in relation to my mortgage, something I would never have known. Very worthwhile. 100% not a nuisance call or scam

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
