I didn t catch the beginning of the message stating the caller (even when it was repeated) but understood that that an order for collection had been delayed for 24 hours. Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).
A whole series of 01273 091xxx numbers have been used for calls such as home appliance insurance renewal or warranty extensions.
