This number calling me past 2 weeks everyday, I don't answer but check the number when its stopped ringing but they never leave any messages

Fraud 01223 247650 Received an automated message this morning saying that they were from HMRC and there was a fraud case against me - no names, company names or phone numbers provided - and that if I don't press 1 I may go to prison.

14.01.2020: Caller female, sounded like a recorded message, from "internet service" or "internet provider" warning that internet would be cut off in 24 hours. No reason given. No identity of called party sought nor any relevant details. Further calls from 01870 851 477 [Isle of Benbecula] and 01987 330 035 - investigating for similarity.

Claimed to be from consumer helpline was clearly a lie. When confronted and asked how they accuired my number, she said it was through the financial services.. Makes sense as I have been using insurance websites
SCAM - an automated voice called my number with a man's voice claiming this was HMRC and I am the subject of a fraud investigation and I need to press options of a warrant will be issued for my arrest. HMRC would approach people in writing, by name, and with specifics of what a compliance review was about - this is a dangerous scam

Recorded message of poor quality stating one should not ignore. From the quality of the message one should know this is a scam call.

SCAM recorded message saying a criminal investigation had been set for tax avoidance and to press a number to find out more. Have been plagued by such calls to my mobile from the "Lo don" area all from slightly different numbers.
