Just had a call from them, the guy knew my name, and said that he was calling me regarding an over payment, back in 2009. I asked him to be more specific, and he said it could of possibly be loan or something. This made me laugh, as I have never taken any loans or anything. I am 20 years old, and if as he stated this was regarding an overpayment I made back in 2009, this meant I made an overpayment when I was 15! Hilarious. Fraud Referring to card transaction I never made with card I never had..... just lurking your financial details
My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. Their response was to advise if I don t want abusive calls don t use answerphone! Not sure who s the bigger waste of space, cretinous telemarketers or the Met.
