Caller claimed to be from EE offering a 35% discount. Quality of Line suggests it was an international call in spite of the landline being a British number.
Said they had been informed I had been involved in a car accident. They asked whether that was correct. I simply said "No". They hung up. No apologies, nothing. What as*holes.

Called me claiming to be Scottish Power, wanted me to tell them my address, saying I had a debt on my account. I asked them to tell me the address to which they claimed the debt was overdue on, but they couldn't. Called 12th and 14th Feb 2022. When I picked up, it sounded like a call centre in the background and the caller was clearly talking to their mates, and they hung up both times. Apparently they are in Trafalgar Sq!
