calling about an accident i had recently (automated girls voice to start then automatically passes u through) Tv on in background claims to work for Road Traffic accident group such a bad scammer
SPAM answered waiting for minute before they actually speak. asking for someone called mr/mrs thomas, and wanting to ask questions about household!? I asked if they were aware of the telephone preference service (which my number has been registered for over two months ago), no answer. when asked who they are, they said just a company called 'preferential', but when asked for company number and more details they said their goodbye and hung up on me. have a glut of similar spam numbers so clearly all same

I received a threatening spam phone call supposedly from HMRC
SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. They said it was not them and took me to the Action Fraud website to report it. I would suggest you do the same, block the number and then change you passwor
