They asked about a car accident that want my fault. I asked where they got my number from and he gave me some nonsense about the rta department . Which obviously doesn t exist. Then the man seemed annoyed with me and hung up. I never did find out how he got my number.

First thing they said was "We understand you've been in an accident", at this point I hung up.
SCAM. I just activated my number and then 3days later (today) I've received 2seperate calls from them. One was that I'd apparently made enquiries on their WiFi broadband internet. SHE GAVE ME MY OWN FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH!!!! HOW DAMN SCARY IS THAT!!!! This number called me, I didn t answer but tried to check online who it might be but was unsuccessful. I rang back the number back, it went to voicemail "Jason here, can t come to the phone blah blah. . . leave a message . I did not leave a message but rang back again & a woman answered Hi this is Andrea from Play Lottery how can I help you . I checked all the contact numbers on the Lottery website & this isn t one of them!! Does anyone know what authority to report this obvious fraudulent number to?

Rang me @ 15:55 on 08/05/2020. I said Hello and they hung up. No idea who they are or what they wanted.
This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference
