Pretended to be a loan lending company. Asks people to pay PPI of £240 for them to deposit the total sum you want to borrow plus your £240 back.
PPI, apparently! Used my first name, had my address and date of birth! When I challenged man on the telephone about being a "cold caller" he was quite angry. I put the phone down. Unfortunately I've had loads of these calls and l' m going to have to change my phone number now. I'd just like to know where they get personal information from. Best advice DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE if you don't recognize the number, wished I had.
