Persistent calls. I resort to being abrupt & rude & hang up call. Very annoying!!

On reflection, I think giving a caller your address is perhaps unwise. Better to get their details first and tell them you will call back after checking them out.

Called this morning saying thank you for your Amazon order you have been charged £399, but I then hung up, Now waiting to see if any money is put on my phone bill.
These people have called me several times in the past few days and I picked up was saying hello for a couple of minutes before they asked for me by my surname (how they got this I want to know) and then proceeded to tell me they were wanting to ask me a survey on my home insurance. when I told them I do not own a home I live with my mum (im 23 years old) and therefor do not have home insurance the guy was like oh oh ok. I asked that my number and name be removed from their systems so hopefully he will do th
