Phone call from someone telling me how I could get a new free boiler. Message was left on answering machine by English-sounding female.

Fraud When I answered this call there was an automated message seemingly from the DWP stating that my National Insurance number was going to be stopped because of fraud. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an operator. I was then transferred to an open line where I could hear a lot of background noise, like a call centre, nobody said anything and then the line went dead. I then called the number back and a business selling plastic answered. Why people do this is a disgrace.

A very dangerous number claiming that I was going to be arrested for tax fraud, knew instantly it was a scam so I challenged the person calling. Man claimed to be named Adam Smith, questioned him and he instantly hung up on me.

Just had a call from this number on my mobile, from FPA regulated by CIB, about national audit, asking about my Pension, who is my Pension provider, payments, amount in my Pension etc.. Nuisance call, then asking if they could call again tomorrow.
Blocked this number and many others. My bill isn t due until 2nd of July and they are ringing me and pestering me to pay they aren t getting anywhere since I have until Thursday to pay! They are very aggressive and I end up hanging up because they don t even give me chance to tell them I have until the 2nd to pay! Worst thing I ever done getting a card from them. I don t even use it anymore just paying it off. Do not get credit from them! Vanquis are awful.
