Scam, claiming they will recover money

SPAM SCAM Automated call. Another call from the 0203 block of numbers that is being used regularly for this type of call. Number blocked.
Fraud
They called claiming to be Microsoft who had detected problems on my computer. I asked them for the 6 digit problem code which the operator didn't understand so I asked her to read out the error message. When she refused I decided it was a scam and hung up.
I had a call from this number telling me my bank had been charged unknown to me
Sales call Multiple calls, daily. He was asked not to call back but the calls keep coming
Claimed to be from Visa regarding 2 bank withdrawals.
Safe number This is a number belonging to a company that organises exhibitions and conferences including IFSEC International.

SCAM Explained that he was from Aviva/LG to tell me my life insurance has automatically been extended until I'm 90 (I expect I will die before then), asked about my Mortgage or rental? I'm not going to tell you anything

I had met my ex wife in college and we were a big part of each others push to sucess. we have been good all through our 15 years of marriage not until I noticed she's been distant and wanting to keep more to herself. I wasn't bothered at first since she can be like that sometimes. this went ahead for quite a while, then I became overtly suspicious when I asked to use her room desktop and she refused. Missed call
01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?
