Fed up of silent calls that then ring off, I rang them back. It is a call centre for company called Home Insurer. They have your number if you have looked for a quote on a comparison web site, which evidently sells on the details of potential customers. However, the girl who answered when I rang them back was quite personable and said she will remove our number from their system so we won t get called again. I ll simply have to believe her unless and until proved otherwise!

My wife received a phone call we think saying it was from HMRC?? alleging non-payment of tax and quite forceful/bullying in the conversation and advised that my wife would be arrested and just wait for this to happen after she argued against the topic.k9Ke2
