Just had another call from 08001836403. Although blocked on my iPhone still got through. Did not answer as I know it is scammers at work. Very annoying to get this number ringing nearly every day. Definitely not Virgin Media as they have confirmed it is a scam call

Scam Automated message asking me to verify HSBC payment made abroad

SCAM. Yet another call from the same Manchester area which seems to be a major call scam area. Left no message as is typical of this sort of call from this area. The last call I had from this area with a similar number I answered and it was a recorded message telling me my NI number was going to be cancelled ...... I just closed the call as another scam. It is time telephone companies were held to account for all this misuse.

Automated call from 01657303224 today at 1535pm. Supposedly BT to say our IP address on our internet has been compromised so internet will be cut off. Internet is working fine. I hung up. On checking, there is no such dialling code as 01657, therefore this is a scam call
Company claims to be called Intex . Called me saying they had information that I was involved in an accident in the last 3 years. I told them they were scammers since they could not possibly have that information (it s false). I asked where they got the info and was told "it comes through on our database". I asked for their company address and was told "I m not allowed to tell you that"!!!! They re just fishing for business, and breaking the law.
