telemarketer calling "on behalf" of Amazon. They would not tell me the purpose of the call until i confirmed my security details I refused to confirm security until they told me the purpose of the call... and they hung up.

Had a call from this number this morning. Asian (??) male saying he was a BT engineer and that there had been reports of terrorist activity on my internet. Really bad day for me today, so told him he was a lying b****** and to go away in no uncertain terms, then slammed the phone down. How can the get to my internet???? And how do I stop this type of phone call. Had a couple of further calls later but no one there ??? And wasn't able to get the number
