Answered, but whoever it was hung up on me. I googled the number and found a few sites reporting this number as unwanted calls, spam, a lottery company that won t take no for an answer, so I ve permanently blocked the number as I have Callguard. Unless they call from another number, they won t be bothering me again.

SCAM / SPAM Automated message purporting to be from HMRC, telling me I was overdue on tax. Unless I connected to an operator to pay, a warrant would be issued, and I would be arrested 'imminently'
