PPI call from 1st Call and kept on insisting they are based in Manchester (actually they are calling from South Africa), and was told that I was owed some sort of money from my bank. I have told these callers in no uncertain terms to remove my number from the database immediately, but was told that they didn t want to and they were going to call me everyday. Had several calls over the last few days, didn't answer this call number but answered one that is linked. They are always with a 'neutral' landline phone number. Starts with "this isn't a sales call, it's to do with your insurance"... then goes on to ask whether I've seen the investigation into the life insurance sector over the last few days. Interrupted them to let them know I'm not interested. I'm registered with TPS but somehow they still got my details.
