Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?
This number is a nuisance calling all hours.

We had exactly the same situation happen as described above, Sarah Parker was incredibly aggressive and rude to both myself and my Director on numerous occassions when we tried to question her over her fictional invoice, when i asked to speak to her manager she hung up on me. Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

When I refused to tell the man if I was a home owner or a tenant, he asked me to stop wasting his time and tell me if I was F...ING interested. He then called me an F...ING W..RE and said that he would make sure I had 10 nuisance calls to replace this one I should have answered. Whe I said "I beg your pardon" he told me to stop begging like a F...ING dog and to answer his F...ING questions. Who can I report this to in a more official capacity ? 101 ?

SCAM This number called my 86 year old mother today, getting her so traumatised she was shouting & crying which is when I took the phone. The person was insisting Mum has a 3 year fridge/freezer insurance, that she pays yearly & needs to pay final year. My mum doesn’t own a fridge/freezer. In the end I told her to put it in writing & send to me. I’ve got to check mum’ bank in case they’ve ever taken money. There will be legal proceedings.
