I don t answer unknown numbers so ignored this one as usual, and when no voicemail was left I called it back from a landline. An automated message picked up: "You have been called by Media Match. The call was not important but we will try again later." I blocked it immediately.

SCAM pretending to be BT Openreach. Problem on my hub.

This is a spam call from people purporting to be from BT Openreach advising there is a problem with my broadband connection. This is the fourth call I've had in a fortnight, all from different numbers, all callers with strong Asian accent and totally unable to deviate from the script they have in front of them. On asking for a number to call back to verify they are from BT, they will spout a 32 digit "verification code" and threaten to cut off your internet if you don't proceed with the

This number called and said there was a problem with my National Insurance Number and if I didn’t deal with the problem immediately it would have severe financial implications. I cancelled the call.

Scam, claim to be amazon and asks you how recently you logged into your amazon account and when you last checked your recent orders. Clearly is trying to telling that you have been hacked. DO NOT SHARE INFO WITH THEM.
