SCAM: Allegedly able to provide protected equity release to protect our home from care costs. When asked where he got my number from (a TPS-protected number), caller rang off

Someone called our offices and abused our admin assistant, when rang back to ask why they did this the number was unobtainable. whoever called upset a young lady enough for her to start crying and need to be sent home with another member of staff.

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

SCAM man called with London accent Opening line was quotI understand you still have a drivewayquot Really odd question Trying to confuse elderly and vulnerable Told me quotNo worries and have a nice dayquot when I told him that he should have my name amp address if we have had a conversation before I called him a scammer and hung up Also had similar call with an English woman asking quotI understand you still own your own homequot Very clearly scams as weirdest opening query ever Look after your grandparent
