Silent Call, then hung up
had a call from Helen Gray from HMRC saying that i needed to call immediately before legal action is taken - if it was from actual HMRC they would be calling in office hours and would not be leaving any message like this. You would receive a letter!!!!!!!!!
Almost certainly a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number on your phone. ...

SCAM / SPAM Company calling itself PI Indemnity. All the hallmarks of a scam to invest in renewable energy. Avoid and just hang up.
Recorded message purporting to come from "HMRC" saying they had been trying to contact me/him (who knows) and that legal action was being taken. Will report to ICO - and HMRC so they can put a warning message on their website about scam calls.

"My name is Lisa McIntosh calling from #### helpline" BYE!!! Zzzzzzzz. How do we get these people fined like the one not so long ago that got busted by the info commissioner? What they are doing is so obviously illegal. There is simply no way they have legally go my number.
Caller was alleging there was a problem with my National Insurance Number and said 'it is urgent that I made contact by pressing 1 on my keyboard, now.' I cancelled the call. The caller had a very educated and cultured voice.
