This number appeared on a postal letter which purported to come from Next saying I'd changed my address and my Next account had been updated. I don't have a Next account, so I contacted Next on the number provided on their website and they confirmed this.
it states its HMRC and a tax evasion is taken out against me and contact immediately. This is FRAUD

Repeated calls from this number, a quick check online and it comes up as with the headline 'Scammers take advantage of 0203 phone numbers to give the appearance of being located in London. It's Indian call centre time again.'

Apparently it is his job to get PPI papers to me and just needed to check my address, which he had (!!), needed my D.O.B. which he didn't get. Says I made an online application, which I haven't. Wasted 13 mins of his time fencing with him. Rang the number back they are Assist Financial Management but all you get is music & a muppet voice telling me how my call is very important to them and to stay on the line.
