AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. SCAM - Text received appearing to be wrong number and conversation ensued trying to befriend. As this number has been searched over 50 times in a few days it says it all really.A scammer.
Rang me on my mobile. I didn't recognise the number and did not answer. The caller did not leave a message. I have no dealings with anyone - personal or corporate in the Shetland Islands.

Called me a total of three times. I missed the first, a couple hours later they rang again and it was an Indian man claiming to be from CarphoneWarehouse. I hung up and they tried to ring again but I didn’t pick up.

Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.
Suspect this is a spam call. Message left on answerphone was generic in that no person was identified. Stated that two sums of money taken from my account - no mention which account. The information was false. Wanted me to make contact with them.

Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person
