Continuous calls from this number saying they do all of BT Renewals! I have an online account with BT and direct access to BT, and any changes or renewals to my accounts are dealt with direct, so why are they bothering me? I have told them to stop or I will make a formal complaint.

Fake number. Sending messages for HMRC tax return. The link they send is the copy of the HMRC website but you can't really do anything. They ask all your details then telling you a fake amount what you'll receive. Then asking more personal info. I've completed with fake name, fake details results are the same.
ISP scam threatening to cut you off unless you. Put receiver down at this point.

I have 6 calls in the last few days, despite me telling them not to call again
Have been called repeatedly by this number over past 2 weeks- they left a message on my answerphone saying "So you wanted to know about bloody contents cover". I called it back and wanted to make a complaint, but they wouldn t put me on to a manager and said they would call back again!!

Unsolicited call from unsolicited caller. If you didn’t expect a call from this unknown caller, it’s harassment.
An automated message told me a warrent for my arrest would go out immediately if I did not answer the call by pressing one. The man told me he was from hmrc, asking if I was employed or self employed. He then said, after asking for my name, the call was made to the wrong person on the wrong number and hung up on me!

I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.

SCAM Received a text from this number claiming to be from HSBC reporting an attempted payment and to click the link if it was not me. A scam and needs stopping IMMEDIATELY.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! It s a welsh number and I don t know anyone that lives in Wales.
