Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything
Just had a call from 01430860504. Automated message supposedly from my bank. Said there was 2 transactions on my account. £250 to Amazon and £1300 to a money transfer company. I have one of these calls every month. SCAMMERS.

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

I have just received the same call, saying they are working with Nominet. They told me all of the Nominet info about our domain, to make them seem legitimate, but obviously anyone can see this info. I refused to give any info at all, and at that point his tone changed and he said he will send an email confirming who they are. Still waiting for email!!!!!
