Call from this number, but put the phone down when I answered. Did not ring back but suspect it is similar to some of the other comments against 01340 numbers

John Parker Employee ID number 1869438. Claiming I have to pay thousands of unpaid tax - HMRC tax fraud or being sent to court. His Superviser Michael Parker then said ok if you pay today... send a wire transfer --- even the number from Gloucester Police station 01452 saying they want to come and arrest me.

A mobile call, which I was not in to answer. No message or anything just the phone number above.

Called landline today 16.07.2021 at 8.00am! No message left, number not known to us, no connections in Burton on Trent, no exact match on Internet search.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Foreign accent. Could not get to the phone on time. Tried to call the number back got a foreign accent.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Claimed to be barclaycard calling about a refund which was processed through my payment acceptance facility. Left a voicemail asking me to call them back on a premium rate number. Seemed very professional but I do not deal eith barclays whatsoever.

Called me on my direct line at work, said he was from talktalk technical department calling about my computer. As I m sitting in an office with a pc network and an IT department I told him that was rather unlikely and rang off.
