Call said was from BT and calling about my broadband speeds - hung up when I questioned the purpose of the call and said I wasn't with BT. Don't know what the intention was but suspect nothing good.
A few minutes ago I had a call from 01414467459 that I could hardly hear due to cracked sounds in ll.the line, from a foreign lady who wanted to talk to me about my Amazon account. I don't have such an account so I put the phone down immediately. Obviously yet another spam call.
SCAM / SPAM This number is attached to Samuel (Sam) Cooper, Lisa Barnett, Standards Chartered ISA Scam. And www.sc-privatebanking.com Was included in an email as a contact number but doesn't ring at all. Contact victim via email and used numerous mobile numbers attached, requested proof of ID, Bank Statements etc. Currently under investigation with Fraud Police.

Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).
