Why doesn t OFCOM clamp down on Eon for this? I don t want a bloody meter. They could easily email me or send a letter - they should not be allowed to hassle people on the telephone.

Calls almost everyday - I find this harrasing and class it as cold calling. Not a number I know nor can I identify the caller. Now blocked it on my phone so it doesnt directly annoy me!

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Asked to take part in an 18 min survey about smile.co.uk. Refused.

Claimed to be barclaycard calling about a refund which was processed through my payment acceptance facility. Left a voicemail asking me to call them back on a premium rate number. Seemed very professional but I do not deal eith barclays whatsoever.

No idea who it was. Think its one of the automated calling bots that I thought were now illegal in the UK. Reason I think this? I called it back and it cut off on first ring.

Answered this as they used my local dialling code. Asked if I had had a road traffic accident. I said no and he apologised.

Missed call - they don't like Call Guardian do they! That's how I know it's a cold call.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS to them over the phone. Im not sure who these ppl are. But Ive seen theyve rang up alot of ppl saying they ve won a makeover. Well apparently you gotta pay £40 as a deposit. Now..Im not sure is this company is legit but it s not worth the risk. Do not accept..Ask for more details like I did. The man just got disinterested and hung up on me. He was impolite and rude.
