The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. Scam claiming tax fraud
Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.
nobody spoke, call dropped after 2 seconds (presumably they re too busy to speak to me this minute, if they dial more numbers than staff in office) Yesterday called from 652001 with similar drop call silent caller, and that number rang twice.
