Started as a silent call but picked up by "Danielle" with a Scottish accent. Offered to advise on how to reduce energy costs. Rang off when I started to ask questions about who they were. When I called the number back a recording said it was changed to 118196, a directory inquiries service run by Vox Clarity. Clearly a telemarketer after selling insulation etc
Automated call. Suspect fraud. Supposedly from Amazon re a mobile phone order for £599. Seems to be associated with a sales group trying to sell an iPhone 6S for a high price!
Answered and it hung up within 3 seconds, could be anything so marked as dangerous

Hi my name is Mrs Margaret Bird, I was left a message on my mobile at the end of last week. I did ring back on Friday afternoon & was told that I would be contacted this morning. My mobile number is 07708696000 & my address is 6 Duncan Avenue, Otley, LS21 3LN. I think the call was about a scan that I had at Harrogate Nightingale on 22nd September. Calling on multiple occasions, silence every time. Called the number which is not recognised. Also a loud intermittent click on subsequent legitimate calls.
Based on previous comments I assume this is a Kwik fit MOT reminder. I have been called twice, no message left. I d assess as nuisance call - a text would be a fine alternative and they have already reminded by email

I told him he was a scammer and he got abusive telling me to F*** Off!

But after listening to the voicemail they left I found it was this company who gave a call back number or 01527 419 162 regarding Scottish power.
