I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. Claimed to be a managing director and wanted to sell a course at a place called tile yard. Couldn’t get his words out properly and he didn’t seem to know what he was going on about. Sounded very inexperienced/out of his depth. Would not trust this caller or his business. AVOID.

These tried to ring my o2 phone today 04-05-2023 ive reported it to o2 as i know nobody from the liverpool area so they have no reason to be trying to call my mobile I answered it and they slammned the phone down on me but i won't be attempting to ring them back From today our prime minister has made all cold calls illegal so im hoping these types are stopped but not holding my breath because they think they are the law and can do as they want!

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

It is a scam pretending to be O2. They got into my account and ordered an iPhone which I didn't ask for. Luckily they didn't manage to change the delivery address and I changed my password on time. O2 confirmed it is a scam.

Saying they are from bank security saying that people have tried to access account and press 1 or 2 but I hung up and checked with bank and this is not true and must be a scam

Phoned said my name then said its your bank we need to veryfi unusual activity on your bank account, give me your full name, address date of birth. I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.

This was a call on my mobile purporting to be a voice message from my doctor and to follow the link. This was recorded at 0012 hrs. No doctor would call at this time and it looks like the call comes from Manchester. I'm in Birmingham. Obviously I did not follow the link and deleted the message.
