The usual PPI story. Have had countless calls over recent months. Even pressing 5 for next stage elicits a recorded message. Eventually line went dead.
Caller rang my home and my husband answered, the caller asked for me by full name then when told I wasn t home he abruptly ended the call and hung up. Who are these people is it a scam?
Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. My wife went through this and they are evil. they clearly have some access to HMRC they threaten you with jail and then ring off and ring back as a Police Man saying they are sending a van round to your house. they claim to know where you live by geolocating you report to Action Fraud - its your duty.
