**SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

Fraud SPAM Malicious call center pretending to be Windows Defender Security team. Number listed on malicious pop-up. Will likely try to initiate a remote session in to your computer

SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.

Fraud, Claiming to be from HMRC for partial tax payment. They hung up when I asked them to authenticate themselves and provide me an HMRC phone number to call them back.

Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by some con-artist! They may also be quick to say they are not selling, simply enquiring, surveying, etc. THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS & HARASSING.

Claimed it was EE, but I suspect this is most likely a SCAM call centre due to the line of questioning and the fact they simply hung up on me when they weren't getting the response they were looking for.
