Somehow they have managed to get money from me twice in two nights, one being a 3hr call at 22.57 costing 44.85 and another for at 01.57 for a 1hr call at 23.35!!!! Raging how can this be!! I was at work and never use my phone!! 02 are about to get a roasting!!My battery doesnt even last for three hours!! The 01786 STD code is for Stirling but this is no local number!

SCAM - Machine talking on the line when you pick up. Claims to be calling form HMRC and that they spotted fraudulent activities on your tax account and you need to press 1 in order to talk to their next available agent. It says if you don't press 1 you will be arrested shortly. After pressing 1 music starts playing and every now and then a machine advises that "your call is very important to them" and your call will be transferred to the next available agent, please stay on the line. disco

Had Phone call from this number regarding Electrical System Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller said 'I know and it is £180.00 per annum and because you have not claimed for three years we are going to reduce it'. At one I knew it was most likely scam and pressed my "Block Now' button.
Our number is registered with the TPS. This call came at 09:50 on Monday. Recorded (or synthesised) Northern English (Huddersfield?) male voice. Claimed to be calling from Amazon about illegal/suspicious "activity on your account", as a result of which a charge of over £1,000 to "the card linked to the account" had been stopped. If you do answer the nuisance calls and it’s NOT an automated message, be polite to the agent, talk to him/her. Remember they are on commission, so waste their time. State you are interested in their SCAM products. Give them false info. If you can arrange a rep to visit, do it at a local café and don’t turn up. I think you get the idea. This is probably where lying would be acceptable even if it’s not in your nature.
