This is now the Twentyieth call asking for Mr Herman, who is not me. It also comes on another number 01618149030 asking the same question, in both cases it is from the North of England hence Bolton and Manchester. Pain in the butt!!.

HMRC scammers calling, claiming that people owe tax money and will be arrested. Threatening voice but ludicrous message. Do not press 1 - just hang up and get on with your day.
Claimed to be financial investigation team, telling me that the have found $11,000 of my missing money. I am British so my currency is British pound sterling. The number cam through as a London area number. After arguing with the man that I was not giving account or personal information to him on the phone he put the phone down on me.

Just called me today. Left no message. If you ring the number, a message says "Welcome to Blades, We called you about a new service but you were unable to take the call. This is Maidstone Police Station. Ignore people who say it s not. I went into the police station to report a motorist for smashing into my car and leaving the scene, spent an hour with a detective and that same detective called me using this number a few minutes ago. This is DEFINITELY Kent Police.

Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Fraud - Called pretending to be Carphone Warehouse offering cheap deals on phones. They ask for bank details and try to gather as much information from you as possible - not sure of the exact scam but no reputable company cold calls you.
