SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.
No one on end of phone, thought I d missed it so I called back. It just says goodbye and thats it.

Then because its a landline number ... you are DUPED into calling THEM! ...& go to landline & ring THEM! This then means "they have not broken the telephone preference rules!!....WHY YOU ASK???? This number 01730267591 was used to make an automated call to my land line. The call claimed to be from BT saying that they were going to cut off my internet that day (05/11/2018). It asked me to press 1 to keep my internet service. As I am not a BT customer and have had similar calls before I put the phone down but I am concerned that other people could be scammed.
