This number is given as the "customer services" number on a fake eBay email. The email is for a high value item that has supposedly just been purchased on my account and to call customer services if there's an issue. I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. Sales call Tried to sell me life insurance which we don't need. Unwilling to take no for an answer but eventually the male caller hung up abruptly. Also not fully forthcoming as to where and how they obtained our contact details as this was considered a 'Cold Call'. AVOID !!
I've had two missed calls from this local phone number, but they don't bother to leave a message & when I phone back it is an automated message that let's me know that nobody will answer and I can't leave a message. If you don't warn someone you're going to phone, they're not going to answer. My only guess is that it's someone from the council or Severn Trent possibly.
