Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. SPAM claims to be from Currys PC World about an iphone deal. I asked woman where she was based and she repeated name of "company". She then gave a place name in the midlands, I said that my phone said Bodmin (in Cornwall). She hung up.

The message claims to be a delivery driver from Evri saying that my parcel was unable to be delivered. In the message there was a HTML link. Needless to say I didn't follow it up. Seems sketchy.
I was told they were from O2 and had an offer on for 30% off the next bill. I was being transferred to the bill department so put the phone down and straight away was called by another "fraudulent" number. I didn't answer.

Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. I then rang back the number (03300270201) and got the following recorded message (female voice, American accent): "The number you have dialled is no longer in service. To purchase service on this number, visit..." and the message cuts off (although the call still seems to be connect
recorded message saying my VISA had been used fraudulently with a payment of £400 to Amazon and £700 to Wester Union and as I had never used Western Union it was suspicious and to press one to talk to someone. Definitely a scam. DO NOT PRESS ONE!! put the phone down and call your bank if you're worried.

This person phone up and was rude and abusive. No idea who they are,never heard of them before. They just rang up and started being abusive down the phone.
Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.

They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.
