Had a call from this number today (06/02/2020). I didn t answer, but just sharing what I discovered when attempting to identify the caller. Several directories show this as a number related to a recruitment company named Catch Recruitment. Hope this helps :)

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. Seem to be many scam calls using bridgnorth area code. This number phoned mobile but did not leave message when left un-answered. I tend not to pick up unexpected numbers.

I got this call today and decided to look it up to find these comments. I never answer my mobile to numbers I Dont know, if it s important they will leave a answer message. Everyone should be doing the same, as once you answer they know you line is active, they will then sell you number to other company s. I used to get at least 7 a day from different numbers but now only recieve 1, most days I don t get any anymore.

Harrassment calls

Several calls in one morning. No immediete reply. Hung up quickly. Assume it's a automatic scam call. Annoying!

Very rude man wants myself and my wife to take out advertising and also to give out personal details about ourselves. When I said no he threatened to kill us and said he was entitled to have our details. Has now phoned 22 times in 3 hours. Treat carefully.

Huge Scam! A man with an french accent talked with me, claimed that he calls from microsoft. i hung up immediately!

This woman with a very liverpudlian accent rang me today said she was ringing about a RTA I had and ringing to help. When I said it had been sorted and please take my number off your database and stop ringing me it was in 2013. She was so abusive and ended in if you keep your hair on a minute I may take it off.
