A phone call claiming to be from Amazon, asking me if I wanted to continue after the free trial. I don't know if they would have asked for payment details, as they hung up when I said it couldn't be me as I already had Amazon Prime.

An oriental person claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer, didn't sound right so I put the phone down I think it's a scam, Microsoft have never rung me up ever

02394313280 called 21 Dec 22 at 14:59hrs, no message left. Some searches list it as QA hospital Portsmouth. Some searches listed by QA employees confirm the source but not the purpose.. Might have been genuine but they'll call again if it is so?
I had a few calls from the number in question. The person sounds like Turkish and lots of background noise sounds like a call centre.
SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
Automated call stated fraudulent transactions (Amazon and international transaction for £3000) were made.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. They claim they are from the Amex fraud team, and told you that your Amex account is scammed and tried to help you block your Amex account. They also told you your iPhone is hacked and all your information in iCloud is in another phone, so all your bank accounts are in danger and you need to block all your bank accounts, and asked you what other bank accounts you have. IMPORTANT!!!! AWARE!!! They will ask you to download an app from Anydesk.com, DON'T do it. This is an app for them to control your mobile

Says they were BT but due to a heavy Indian accent I couldn't understand what he was saying. Have had people claiming to be BT contacting me before claiming there was an issue with my computer, why BT would contact me about my computer which has nothing to do with them caused alarm bells to ring. Not sure if this was one of these calls but be wary if answer, don't let them have control of your computer for whatever reason they give.

135 phone calls from this or similar number in past 48 hours. Some invest mob who clearly just want to harrass people and make their mental health suffer with harrasment. Blocked the first 20 odd number but it just keeps coming. Asked them nicely to stop which 1 or 2 laughed at that.

SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.
