Fraud - Indian Amazon scammers, claim there to be a purchase made on an amazon account. They hang up when asked to provide proof, or give plausable details.
Fraud obtained my ex directory phone number by illegal means, tried to tell me he had everyone's number which is a lie because I have not given this company permission to contact me.
As I answered they hung up
Did not answer as most of these numbers are just call centre fishing calls it did not leave a voicemail

Called at 07.45am. Female caller said she was from Virgin Media voice sounded "far eastern sub continent", Call centre noises in back ground. Virgin media calls centres open at 08.00am. Can only believe it was a scam call. They hung up when queried about such an early call time

This number has called me relentlessly trying to get information from me. I have bipolar and have no issues with my benefits claim. They keep stating that I need to send them my bank statements and have refused to give me her employee number or managers number or a contact for the department she works for.
I received a call from this number saying someone had bought something on my account for £700 and if this was not me to press 1. The voice was female and well spoken. I put the phone down, then checked my Amazon account. This purchase had not been made so probably it is a scam.

I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.
