Claimed to be from currys, offered dodgy 40% off. Same promotion as a scam ee call previous day.

Automated script, claiming there was a payment dispute on my amazon account for £600. Scam. Stay away.

Most probably a scam, as they claimed to be paypal, but paypal never called me and i suspect if theres something they want to find out, it wont be a machine voice. Be aware!

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!

Just had a call from +44 333 240 0255. I ignored this call. I am registered with TPS, so this call should never have taken place. I don't care who says they are legit, it is an offence to contact someone registered with TPS in the first place. They will be reported. Their call is very much unwelcome!SCAM

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Please do not do any business with this

Claimed to be John from Amazon. I idn't order anything from Amazon which made it suspicious already, and I live near Rotterdam in the Netherlands...

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. This UK mobile number called my mobile and it was an automated voice saying it was about my "Visa OR Mastercard" (which one?) and that £600 had been spent on it 15 minutes ago. Press 1 to stop the payment. I did not press anything and hung up.

SCAM - Man with an a strong Indian accent asking if I had had an accident, his name apparently was Sam Mohammed (clearly made up). I said I don't drive (although I do), to which he said one of your family members must have had an accident. He said he got my number from the travel accident bureau, but he couldn't tell me what my name is! I asked what he would do if I did have an accident, and he said he would put me through to his supervisor, and I said, 'right and your supervisor will take my card details

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.
