Woman calls my mobile whilst I m studying in the library and when I answer there is initially laughter in the background. Then goes on to say how I am owed PPI and lists banks paying out. After listening to the list I name my bank as Nationwide as it was the only one she didn t mention. Asks if I have a credit card and I state no. She then proceeds to ask me if I have had a loan (which I haven t). Was very persistent and persuasive. Would recommend not answering the phone

Received a call from this number and listening to the message can understand why people fall for this. The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up.
