Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

Scam recorded message saying that they are stopping use of my National insurance number as I have committed several frauds and criminal activity, press 1 to speak with an officer... and no doubt get fleeced lots of money for doing so. I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Scam. They say they are from. Vodafone but I checked with Vodafone and they do not telemarketer their customers. Even when work g from home duri g the pandemic so BEWARE ITS A SCAM they ask you for your card details and tell you that you can get am upgrade when you aren't eleigable or have just had a legitimate upgrade
