I think they last called me around 2 years ago and are always very respectful. In a roundabout way, they are trying to sell a service, but at no point pressured me into buying anything. This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

As I have unknown number filter switched on it came through silent and straight to what would be voice mail if I had it switched on.. it’s a Fareham number and I managed to locate the address. It seems this is a marketing number for the sale of houses on that street. This would have been annoying without unknown call filter

After a few hangups from this number it was Scottish Power sales.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.
