I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. Said they were ringing about a warranty for my washing machine, at £8.99 a month. The machine was not the make I have. They wanted account numbers. I told them it was bs and they rang off.. Be warned.

Got call from 01217948636 .. After some silence a lady said she had heard I have had an accident. I told her I haven t and not to call back. Blocked number just in case.
Just received a call from a local number claiming I had made a claim about a vehicle accident in the last 2 years. When I asked where they got the information they hung up on me.
This is a Scam call. A recorded message saying it's HMRC and if you don't press 1 a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested. It's been reported to HMRC. Please do not press any numbers on the call. Hang up and block the number

Recorded message when answered. Something about NI number being compromised.
Couldn t give me the first digit og my postcode when they claimed to have my address because of data protection . I told them that having my phone number was already a violation of data protection.
