Just got called by this number. A man claimed to be a retired policeman who was working for the "Police Magazine". He said he was responsible for all the advertising for emergency services and offered us to advertise our business for ?150-400 - depending on the size of the ad. When I told him that we weren t interested, he rang off and since it seemed weird to me I looked for information on the net. Now I m pretty sure that it was a scam!

Hi I have had 9 calls in two days from this number..I haven t answered any of them when home..they don t give up (and yes they go onto the answer machine but don t leave a message)..think they are calling because I too got unrequested mobile sim cards sent to me and.. they set up a additional DD at my bank! which I have instructed my bank to cancel - I suspect that s why they are calling me. I have sent everything they sent me back to them at my expense may I add. Have they nothing better to do on a friday
Same location they calling me from again, but with a totally different number, and an Asian woman speaking, could not talk as got a sore throat, what is this company doing calling me from London, I blocked their number they first called me on. If this carries on I will be reporting them to the relevant authorities for harrassment, don't need it when I am not well.
