Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
Despite telling them that I do not wish to buy anything, they will continue to contact you 2-3 times a day for over a week. Chris calling again but from another new number. When i asked him why he was still calling my TPS registered phone he rang off. he uses multiple numbers all apparently at the same address in Bournemouth. the numbers he is using are 01202 794776, 01202 159277, 01202 159284 and 01202 159298. treat any calls as a scam.
