SCAM a gentleman of Indian persuasion or cultural heritage that thought I was female. Which is a nice touch, but last time I scratched an itch all my tackle was very much in place. I loved the Virgin Media representation, however I had the feeling iny belly that he was a scamming bastard. I was contacted by this company to say they were placing £3,208.21 into my bank account for an accident i had had. I have had no accident so what is going on?
Text message from this number claiming to be Halifax saying a new device has been added to your account. If this was not you please click on this link ... Clearly this is a spam...
Automated call, claiming to be from a bank (not specified) to inform me two payments had been made on a card. One to Amazon, and one an international transfer. Asked to press 1 to cancel, and another number to be transferred. This is the third call received in less than a week from similar numbers.
