I answered as showed my local number however it wasn't .It was PPI claim centre. I asked a guy to remove my details from their database ,he still tried to asked me if I know what PPI means.I said I wasn't interested and to remove my details.He said no problem and hang up

SCAM. One of those calls about an accident I was supposed to have had in the last 3 years. They had my name wrong but still would not believe I had not had an accident. Number now blocked.

Someone called Steve called saying he was from the Dispatch Team at the Central County Court London telling me he had a cheque for £4,200 for a car accident I had in 2012. I asked him the registration number of the car and he said it was an X reg. I have never had an X reg car so put the phone down on him. He then rang my house number and left the same message. Do not call them. I will be reporting them.
