Same here it came up as local number. They asked for the false name I used when filling in an ASDA competition a couple of years back so I know who sold them my number!

SCAM. Another call from what seems to be a call centre in Manchester. Soon as you answer the call is cut off. Probably to see if line is still active. In the last month I have had 20 calls from the same area but different numbers. I've logged this as a scam because if itwas genuine the caller would have answered or left a message. I do not know this #.

Can Can car finance keep calling, 6 missed calls
Yet another series of calls (5 in all over the course of an hour) from these thieving b****rds today. Kept trying to tell me it was my windows 7 pc, then gave me a spurious windows registration number, but couldn t let me know my IP address. Then when I told her it was a windows 10 machine, switched to telling me it was my windows server. I do run a server, but it s Linux! They really won t give up will they!

The phone rings, sometimes there's a lady talking to me as if we were old acquaintances. Other times, no one is talking at all, but it sounds like there is an office environment in the background, but they do not answer if you talk to the caller. This has happened many times until I blocked the number.

Call from this number claiming to be from BT saying someone has used my internet for an illegal money transfer and they had stopped my internet and I had to reply by pressing 1 on my phone Ha Ha Ha !!!!
